What to Expect as a First-Time Guest

Friendly people.  That’s probably what you’ll notice first. We’re a “come as you are” kind of place where everyone is welcome and accepted.

When you leave your home, be sure you’re wearing something comfortable. You don’t have to dress to impress at HCBC Leander.

When you arrive at the school, you’ll see signs directing you to the best parking spots and the main entrance we use on Sunday mornings.

If you have children, you’ll see the Children’s Ministry check-in area straight ahead as you enter the building. By now, you’ve seen several greeters, any of whom will be glad to assist you in any way possible. Also, especially if you have kids, you’ll want to know that the restrooms are on the left as you enter the facility. Once the kiddos are situated, grab a cup of coffee and make your way into the worship center (located on the right as you entered the building). And yes, you can bring your coffee into the worship center.

Our music is upbeat and focuses on helping us express our love and appreciation for all that God has done for us. Our worship band includes drums, several guitars, keyboards and committed vocalists. Our aim is to create an environment where God is easy to find and hard to forget.

The pastor’s message is geared toward helping you understand the Bible and how to apply its principles to your day-to-day life. The aim of our teaching is not for you to leave saying, “Wow! That guy’s smart. I didn’t know that.” But to say, “Wow! That message was helpful. I can do that.”
