Morning at a Glance

Bible Time- Bible time consists of prayer, a "Pat-the-Bible" song, and a monthly Bible lesson from our "Big God" curriculum. Each month your child will learn a Bible verse that accompanies the lesson for the month. You will receive a memory verse magnet monthly as a tool in helping you and your child memorize the verse together. Time is set aside each Sunday to practice learning the Bible verse through the use of songs and games.

Praise and Worship- The children worship God with songs each week. Most songs involve easy hand motions so the kids can worship with their entire bodies. Shakers (noisemakers) are also used to allow even the youngest children in our nursery to participate in worship.

Gospel Fuzzies- Each week we present the Gospel using a song called the "Gospel Fuzzies" to assist them in understanding the "Good News" about Jesus Christ.

Free Play
- A variety of colorful, age-appropriate toys and board books are available for children in the nursery classes.

Outdoor Play - Children in the middle and upper nursery play outside (weather permitting) in a covered play area. Walking and push toys, bouncing balls, a slide, tricycles and a parachute are among the equipment offered. On inclement weather days, children visit the elementary Basecamp area to participate in praise and worship songs.

Snack -  Snack is served in all classes in the Exploration Station. Lower nursery children will be served an appropriate snack specified by the parents on the "Thought You'd Like to Know" form. Children with food allergies should bring a snack from home.
